In sub-committees (three to four people) your task is to determine the entire minimum time in hours necessary to cook the dinner. You may use any method that is agreed upon by all of the members of your group. Once your sub-committee has completed its list, you will create a group wiki page listing the dishes and desserts you decided to prepare, and explain the method (and reasoning) used to reach the decision of preparation time, and justify the solution. Before creating your page, have your plan approved by Mr. Baker or Ms. Schottmueller.
Include any necessary pictures, tables, or diagrams to help explain or present your group's work.

sweet potatoes pie with mac an chesse an sweeet cornbread in a bowl mixed
    Ingredients
    1 (1 pound) sweet potato
    1/2 cup butter, softened
    1 cup white sugar
    1/2 cup milk
    2 eggs
    1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
    Directions
Boil sweet potato whole in skin for 40 to 50 minutes, or until done. Run cold water over the sweet potato, and remove the skin.
Break apart sweet potato in a bowl. Add butter, and mix well with mixer. Stir in sugar, milk, eggs, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla. Beat on medium speed until mixture is smooth. Pour filling into an unbaked pie crust.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 55 to 60 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Pie will puff up like a souffle, and then will sink down as it cools.
    Ingredients
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1 cup yellow cornmeal
    1/4 cup white sugar
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1 cup heavy cream
    1/4 cup vegetable oil
    1/4 cup honey
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, stir together flour, cornmeal, sugar and baking powder. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Add the cream, oil, honey and eggs; stir to combine. Pour batter into prepared baking pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of pan comes out clean.
    Ingredients
1 (16 ounce) package fully cooked kielbasa sausage, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 (8 ounce) package elbow macaroni
    1/3 cup butter
    1 small onion, chopped
    3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    2 cups milk
1 (10 ounce) package sharp Cheddar cheese, cubed
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 cup dry bread crumbs, or more as needed
    Directions
Cook and stir the cut-up kielbasa in a large skillet over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes, until heated through and beginning to brown. Remove the sausage from the skillet, and set aside.
Fill a pan with lightly salted water, bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stir in the macaroni, and return to a boil. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the pasta has cooked through but is still firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain well.
Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Melt the butter in the skillet over medium-low heat, and cook and stir the chopped onion for about 5 minutes, until translucent. Whisk in the flour, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Cook and stir the butter, onion and flour for 2 to 3 minutes to make a roux, and remove from the heat. Whisk in the milk a little at a time, stirring constantly, until all the milk has been incorporated, and return to low heat. Bring the sauce to a simmer, and cook over low heat for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly, to finish cooking the flour. Whisk in the Cheddar cheese, a few cubes at a time, until all the cheese has been incorporated and the sauce is hot and smooth.
Pour the macaroni into the cheese sauce, and stir to combine. Stir in the cooked kielbasa, salt, and pepper.
Spoon the macaroni mixture into the prepared baking dish, and sprinkle the bread crumbs over the top. Bake for about 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until the crumbs are brown and the casserole is bubbling. Let stand for 15 minutes after baking, to set before serving.
